Summer-Like Pattern This Weekend:
Good Morning from Meteorologist Chris Whited...
* The weather pattern for West Central Texas is pretty much setting up to a typical summer-like pattern for the area (even though summer officially isn't here yet) for the next seven days. A ridge to our west will build in across the Big Country, Heartland and Northern Concho Valley warming us well into the middle and upper 90s, with some spots into the lower 100s. Lows at night will pretty much stay around 70 each night. Partly cloudy conditions are expected each day and with daytime heating an isolated thunderstorm is possible each afternoon.
* Join us on television this morning for the lastst on your forecast as well as news from around Abilene and the Big Country on KRBC's Abilene Today at 6:00 AM and on Abilene Midday at 11:30 AM.
