Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* A cold front across the Panhandle of Texas will continue to push south today across the Big Country. The cold front is expected to approach the Interstate 20 corridor near Abilene between 9am and Noon and winds will be quite gusty from the northwest at 20-30 mph. Highs today should reach the middle 60s this morning and around noon but fall into the 50s by the afternoon. There could be a few isolated showers along the front today.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SAN ANGELO HAS ISSUED A LAKE WIND ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING.

A COLD FRONTAL PASSAGE WILL BRING NORTHERLY WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH WITH SOME HIGHER GUSTS ACROSS THE BIG COUNTRY BY MID MORNING... CONTINUING THROUGH LATE THIS AFTERNOON.

A LAKE WIND ADVISORY INDICATES THAT WINDS WILL CAUSE ROUGH CHOP ON AREA LAKES. SMALL BOATS WILL BE ESPECIALLY PRONE TO CAPSIZING.
