Freeze Warning in Effect

From the KRBC Weather Lab and Chief Meteorologist Randy Turner .....

A Freeze Warning is in effect early Tuesday morning for the KRBC viewing area. High pressure will be sitting right over the top of us, meaning the coldest air behind the recent cold front will be over our area, possibly as cold as the upper 20's to low 30's for a few hours. This means tender plants will easily be damaged tonight so plan accordingly. But, just as rapidly as the dry air gets cold, it will warm up to the upper 60's on Tuesday.

For the rest of the week, a warming trend and dry weather is expected. I don't have any rain in the forecast for the next seven days.

Monday Night: FREEZE WARNING in effect. Clear, calm wind, 28-32.
Tuesday: Sunny, high near 68. Southeast wind 5 to 10.
Tuesday Night: Clear and cool, low 43.
Wednesday through Friday: Sunny, highs 75-77, lows 52-55.
Saturday and Sunday: Partly cloudy, highs 75, lows 52-55.
