St. Patty's looking nice!

Good Morning from Morning Meteorologist Kristen Connolly...

Mother Nature is stating off the weekend a bit chilly this morning with temperatures mainly in the 40's around the Big Country. We are also seeing overcast skies with the clouds lingering behind the front that passed last night. Ahead of the front we got the temperatures quit above average reaching near 80 degrees. It was a perfect day to get some rays by reading a book or a trip to the pool.

Today we will see the clouds slowly diminish in the mroning hours and by the afternoon we should see the sunshine return. Our winds will be a bit gusty out of the North this will keep us much cooler than the past few days. Highs will only make it into the mid 60's. By the overnight we shuld see the winds shift back to the East and South, helping to bring in some warmer air. We will see one more overnight in the 40's but tomorrow the 70's will return. Sunday will again be a gradual rise into the upper 70's with with plenty of sunshine.

Next week is looking like an active one. Rain chances are o nthe board from Monday until Thursday. Temperatures iwll be i nthe mid 70's with overnight lows in the upper 50's. We will be watching this activity closely as there is the potentioal from some Thunderstorms with a possibility of a dryline and a few disturbances being pushed into our area.
Have an amazing weekend!
