Friday Morning Forecast

Good Morning from Morning Meteorologist Kristen Connolly….

It is warm start to the weekend, temperatures around the Big Country this morning in the upper 50’s to lower 60’s. We are seeing a bit of activity showing up on the Triple Doppler radar, however most of it not hitting the ground. The clouds that are present will begin to break up and by the afternoon we will see Mostly Sunny skies. Temperatures will mirror yesterday reaching into mid 70’s with winds out of the North around 10-15 mph.

Overnight we will get a bit cooler with lows around 50 degrees. Tomorrow we will see a slight rise in temperatures with some locations making it into the 80’s. Although it will be short lived as a front passes Sunday we will knock the temperatures into the upper 60’s. Right now Sunday is the best chance for showers and thunderstorms with main activity staying in our eastern counties. Otherwise this weekend we will see Partly Cloudy skies.

By the beginning of next week temperatures will be in the 70’s with a mix of sun and clouds.

Have a good weekend!
