Warmer Weather Ahead, Colder Next Week:

Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* Another cold start this morning with temperatures ranging from the lower 20s to the lower 30s across the Big Country, the Northern Heartland and the Northern Concho Valley. Nice weather on this Thursday with high temperatures this afternoon into the lower and middle 60s with abundant sunshine. Mostly clear and chilly tonight with lows in lower 30s.

Cold start this morning with temperatures ranging from the lower 20s to the lower 30s across West Central Texas. A nice day ahead with highs warming up into the middle 50s under a mostly sunny sky. A weak cold front will move across the region today but we're not expecting much with this boundary. Mostly clear & cold tonight with lows dropping back into the upper 20s and lower 30s.

* Late Week: Warming up into the lower and middle 60s on Thursday and into the upper 60s and lower 70s by Friday. Expect a mostly sunny to partly cloudy sky. Lows at night will be in the lower and middle 30s.

* Weekend: Warm weather will continue into the weekend with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s for Saturday and Sunday. Lows at night will be in the upper 30s. A disturbance working across the region could squeeze out a few rain showers across the southern and eastern portions of the viewing area Saturday night and early on Sunday morning.

* Next Week: Increasing clouds on Monday and warm with highs into the lower 70s. A strong cold front will move into the region late Monday night and into Tuesday with lows dropping into the low 30s. Cloudy and very cold on Tuesday with a chance of a rain/snow mix across West Central Texas. Highs will be low to mid 30s all day on Tuesday. The precipitation will end Tuesday night and early on Wednesday but very cold with lows in the upper 10s and lower 20s. Still cold on Wednesday with highs in the upper 30s under a partly cloudy sky.
