Nice Weather Today:

Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* Quiet a contrast on temperatures this morning across the region with a few spots in the upper 20s and other areas into the lower and middle 40s. Great weather ahead on this Friday with abundant sunshine and highs warming into the upper 60s and lower 70s across West Central Texas. Mostly clear and cool tonight with lows in the upper 30s and lower 40s.

* Weekend: Warm weather will continue into the early part of the weekend with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s on Saturday. Lows will drop into the upper 30s for Saturday night. A disturbance working across the region could squeeze out a few rain showers across the southern and eastern portions of the viewing area Saturday night and early on Sunday morning. Partly cloudy on Sunday and cooler with highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s.

* Next Week: Increasing clouds on Monday and warm with highs into the middle 50s. A strong cold front will move into the region late Monday night and into early Tuesday with lows dropping into the lower 30s. Cloudy and very cold on Tuesday with a chance of a rain/snow/sleet mix across West Central Texas. Highs will be low to mid 30s all day on Tuesday. The precipitation will end Tuesday night and early on Wednesday but very cold with lows in the upper 10s and lower 20s. Still cold on Wednesday with highs in the middle 30s under a partly cloudy sky. I will note the model runs this morning are trying to slow down the arrival of the cold front to later on Tuesday.
