Cold Day Ahead For West Central Texas:


Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* Very cold morning across West Central Texas with temperatures in the upper 10s to mid 20s across the area. The breeze this morning has wind chill values down between 5-15° area wide. Expect a partly cloudy and cold day ahead with highs in the lower to middle 30s. Increasing high clouds tonight but very cold with lows around 15 and a light east breeze. Another cold day on Wednesday under a mostly cloudy sky and highs in the middle 30s. A weak system moving out of New Mexico into West Texas Wednesday afternoon and night could tap some moisture and squeeze out a few snow flurries. Lows Wednesday night in the upper 10s to lower 20s.

* Late Week/Weekend: Gradual warming trend will take place during the late week and into the upcoming weekend. Highs on Thursday climb back into the middle 40s after a cold start. Highs Friday will be in the mid 50s. Upper 50s to lower 60s are the forecast highs on Saturday and Sunday. Overnight lows will range from the upper 20s to the upper 30s. Expect a mostly cloudy sky Friday and Saturday with a partly cloudy sky by Sunday. No precipitation chances are anticipated at this time.
