Storms Ending, Windy & Warmer:

Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...

From the KRBC Triple Doppler Weather Center...

(04:24:03) iembot: SJT issues Red Flag Warning valid at May 07, 10:00 AM CDT for Coke, Crockett, Fisher, Irion, Nolan, Schleicher, Sterling, Sutton, Tom Green [TX] till May 07, 8:00 PM CDT

(03:03:45) iembot: SJT issues Wind Advisory valid at May 07, 10:00 AM CDT for Coke, Concho, Crockett, Fisher, Irion, Jones, Nolan, Runnels, Schleicher, Sterling, Sutton, Taylor, Tom Green [TX] till May 07, 7:00 PM CDT

* Thunderstorms continue to progress north and east this morning across West Central Texas. The storms could still be severe through noon across the area but so far, most of the severe weather has been centered over the South Plains early this morning. There is a slight risk for severe weather today for our eastern counties, but I do expect the storms to be out of all of our area, especially those eastern counties by lunch time.

* Windy conditions today will elevate the fire danger across the area so Red Flag Warnings have been issued, as well as Windy Advisories. Highs today will climb into the lower and middle 80s. Lows tonight in the middle 50s. A weak cold front will move into the area tonight.
