More Hot Weather - Storms Possible This Weekend

FROM THE KRBC WEATHER CENTER AND CHIEF METEOROLOGIST RANDY TURNER...

THE HIGH IN ABILENE MONDAY TOPPED 98 DEGREES WHILE SNYDER, SWEETWATER AND BROWNWOOD ALL SCORED 100 DEGREES. EVEN THOUGH A VERY WEAK FRONT WILL BE IN THE AREA TUESDAY, TEMPERATURES SHOULD STILL CLIMB IN TO THE UPPER 90'S IN THE ABILENE AREA AND CLOSE TO 100 AGAIN WEST AND SOUTH OF ABILENE.

NO MAJOR CHANGES TO THE FORECAST THROUGH THURSDAY, EXCEPT MORE HUMIDITY RETURNING ON WEDNESDAY. ONCE THE HUMIDITY RETURNS, IT WILL STAY HUMID WITH LOTS OF LOW LEVEL MOISTURE THROUGH MEMORIAL DAY MONDAY.

SPEAKING OF THE UPCOMING HOLIDAY WEEKEND, THERE IS A 20% CHANCE FOR STORMS ON FRIDAY, 30% SATURDAY AND SUNDAY AND 20% ON MONDAY.

HIGHS ABOVE 90 THROUGH FRIDAY, IN THE 80'S FOR THE WEEKEND.
