Wind, Wind and More Wind

From KRBC Chief Meteorologist Randy Turner ...

The wind here will gust in response to low pressure areas passing through the Rocky Mountain region. Don't expect the gusty wind to die down anytime soon, remaining high through Wednesday out of the south, then gusty out of the north on Thursday behind our next cold front.

The front is not expected to bring rain. Matter of fact, with gusty wind and dry conditions, the wildfire danger is growing with a potential to see some Red Flag Advisories issued for the wildfire danger as the week progresses.

Coleman County reinstated their Burn Ban this morning.

I expect dry weather through this time next week.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, low of 58. Southeast wind 10 to 15.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy, high of 80. Southeast wind 15 to 25.
Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, low of 62. Southeast wind 10 to 20.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy, high of 83, windy. Southwest wind 20 to 30.
Wednesday Night: A cold front arrives, low of 52. Northwest wind 10 to 20.
Thursday: Sunny and breezy, high of 65. North wind 10 to 20.
Thursday Night: Clear and 42.
Friday: Sunny and 67.
Friday Night: Clear and 44.
Saturday and Sunday: Sunny, low to middle 70's.
