Cooler Temperatures Arrive A Little Later

From Meteorologist Jason Myers........

Temperatures were a few degrees cooler today with the high temperature in Abilene at 91 degrees. Cloud cover from Tropical Storm Otis contributed to keeping the temperatures a few degrees cooler than yesterday.

High temperatures will remain warm Monday through Wedneday....Highs will be in the upper 80s on Monday and Tuesday, and low-to-mid 80s on Wednesday.

Cooler temperatures are set to arrive overnight Wednesday into Thursday which is a little later than first thought. The cold front should arrive later during the day on Wednesday bringing a 20% chance of rain for Wednesday and Thursday. Overnight low temperatures Wednesday night into early Thursday morning will drop into the lower 50s, so make sure you and the kids have a jacket before you go out the door on Thursday. High temperatures on Thursday will not make it out of the 60s. Friday temperatures will reach the lower 70s, so it will still feel mild, making for some great Friday Night Football!

Have a great week!
