Temperatures About 30° Cooler Today:

Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* Colder Air Returns: A strong cold front moved across West Central Texas this morning and has brought in a much colder air mass. Partly cloudy and much colder on todat with highs in the lower 50s and dropping down into the middle to upper 20s for tonight. Mostly cloudy and still chilly on Friday with high temperatures in the upper 40s. Our coldest night will be Friday night with lows dropping into the lower 20s. The disturbance that we expected to bring a cold light rain/wet snow across the Big Country looks to stay to our north so I've taken the precipitation out of the forecast for Friday.

* Weekend: Cool weather for the last shopping weekend before Christmas. Expect a partly cloudy sky with morning temperatures Saturday morning starting out in the lower 20s. We'll only warm up to around 50 on Saturday afternoon. Another cold night for Saturday night with temperatures dropping into the upper 20s. Still partly cloudy on Sunday with highs a little warmer into the upper 50s and lower 60s and dropping into the upper 30s again for Sunday night. No rain chances are expected in the weekend forecast.
