Looking Forward to Some Relief from the Heat !!

From KRBC Chief Meteorologist Randy Turner ...

The daily beat-down of heat is going to stop for a few days, but temperatures will remain warm.

FRIDAY - Temperatures should still approach the century mark, even with a weak cold front running east-west along and north of I-20. South of the front, temperatures in the low 100's will happen one last day. A few hit and miss showers are possible in the afternoon heat.

FRIDAY NIGHT: I'm going with a 30 percent chance for showers to pass through the area during the overnight, some locally heavy.

SATURDAY: More hit and miss showers and thunderstorms, a 40 percent chance, with highs only around 90.

SATURDAY NIGHT: More scattered showers and storms, a 40 percent chance.

SUNDAY: High near 92 with a 20 percent chance for storms.

MONDAY THROUGH NEXT THURSDAY: A daily 20 percent chance for storms with highs in the 90's, not 100's.
