* Quiet weather expected today across the region. Cooler and breezy with highs only into the middle 60s under a sunny sky. Clear and cold tonight with lows in the lower and the middle 30s.
* Late Week: Sunny and warming up for Thursday and Friday. Highs into the lower 70s for Thursday and the upper 70s for Friday. Overnight lows into the mid 40s.
* Weekend: Partly cloudy and a tad cooler with highs in the lower 70s under a partly cloudy sky. Lows at night into the mid to upper 40s. There is a slight chance for rain Sunday night across the area, primarily east of an Abilene, Haskell, Ballinger line.
* Wildfire Threat: Fire danger remains elevated as dry air continues over the region. However, winds at 20 feet above ground level will remain light mainly around 10 mph or less.
