Hot & Dry Weather Ahead:

Good Morning from Meteorologist Chris Whited at KRBC...

* Busted Forecast! After what looked to be promising rain chance yesterday, we only saw a few showers out of the whole event. The main batch of rain developed and moved off toward North Texas and missed our area. All the model runs were pointing at a good rain event but as you can tell it was a bust. You win some and you lose some... just how it is in life and forecasting weather!

* The remains of the front are stalled out over the Concho Valley this morning. The front should began to retrograde into a warm front and lift northward today. Highs today will climb back into the middle 90s across the Big Country, Heartland and Northern Concho Valley. This pattern will remain in place through the next seven days. There is also no mentionable rain chances in the forecast.
