FROM THE KRBC TRIPLE DOPPLER WEATHER LAB ...

THE RAINS HAVE BEEN GENEROUS ACROSS THE AREA SINCE SATURDAY AFTERNOON. THE FRONT THAT PUSHED DOWN INTO THE AREA SATURDAY STALLED ACROSS THE SOUTHERN COUNTIES IN THE KRBC VIEWING AREA AND HAS CAUSED MORE SHOWERS AND STORMS TO FORM TODAY. THIS VERY TROPICAL WEATHER PATTERN IS EXPECTED TO LAST THROUGH MONDAY BEFORE SOME SLIGHTLY DRIER AIR PUSHES IN.

AS WE GO THROUGH THE WORK WEEK, WE WILL COME UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF NORTHWEST FLOW ALOFT. WHAT THAT MEANS FOR US IS THE POTENTIAL FOR ANY STORMS WHICH DEVELOP IN THE TEXAS PAHANDLE OR NORTHEASTERN NEW MEXICO TO DRIFT OUR WAY, MUCH LIKE WE'VE SEEN THE PAST COUPLE WEEKS. IT IS SOMETHING WE HAVE TO LOOK AT DAY TO DAY AS THE WEEK GOES ON.

TONIGHT: SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE AREA, LOW NEAR 68. EAST WIND 5 TO 10.

MONDAY: PARTLY CLOUDY WITH A 20% CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS, HIGH 90. EAST WIND 10 TO 15.

MONDAY NIGHT: PARTLY CLOUDY, 68.

TUESDAY: PARTLY CLOUDY AND 94.
