A Storm or Two Possible Today...

Good Morning from Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* Quiet weather this morning in the Big Country but will keep an eye on an outflow boundary that is working southward across the South Plains from another thunderstorm thunderstorm complex that has been working this morning between Amarillo and Lubbock. I think the boundary should drift more toward West Texas than our area. What is left of the storm complex could bring some isolated rain to the northwest counties later this morning before it dies out.

* Hit and miss thunderstorms are possible later today once we get the daytime heating going along with the humid conditions. The best rain chances today are to our south across the Concho Valley and down toward the Edwards Plateau. Highs into the middle 90s and lows in the lower 70s.

* Hit and miss isolated storms will be possible this weekend and early next week. Highs should remain near average into the middle 90s and lows in the lower to middle 70s. The best rain chances should be to our west most of the weekend and early next week.
