Isolated Storms Possible Today:

Good Morning from Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* Quiet weather this morning but will keep an eye on an outflow boundary that is working southward across the South Plains from a thunderstorm complex between Amarillo and Lubbock. Most of this activity should stay well to our west.

* Frontal boundary still in the area so isolated thunderstorms are possible later today once we get the daytime heating going but I don't expect it to be as widespread as we say yesterday. The best rain chances today are to our south. With the front in the area will keep rain chances in the forecast until Thursday. Highs will drop back a bit into the middle 90s and lows in the lower 70s.

* Warmer and dry weather for late week and into the weekend for the Big Country. Highs in the middle to upper 90s and lows in the middle 70s. Models bring another rain chance into the forecast by early next week.

* Join us on television this morning for the lastest on your forecast as well as news from around Abilene & the Big Country on KRBC's Abilene Today starting at 6:00 AM and on Abilene Midday later this morning at 11:30 AM.
