WATCH FOR PATCHY ICE

WINTRY CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE BIG COUNTRY ANDNORTHERN CONCHO VALLEY THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING...A POTENT UPPER LEVEL STORMS SYSTEM ACROSS WEST CENTRAL TEXAS WILLCONTINUE TO MOVE EAST THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. LIGHT TOMODERATE SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO BE POSSIBLE THROUGH EARLY EVENING HOURSALONG AND NORTH OF A SAN ANGELO TO BROWNWOOD LINE. IN GENERAL...SNOWFALL TOTALS WILL BE ONE INCH OR LESS. ANY SNOW THAT DOESACCUMULATE WILL MELT QUICKLY AS GROUND TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTEDTO REMAIN ABOVE THE FREEZING MARK.MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO USE CAUTION AS TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TOCONTINUE FALLING THROUGH THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS...WITHTEMPERATURES FALLING BELOW THE FREEZING MARK BY LATE EVENING. ONCETEMPERATURES FALL BELOW THE FREEZING MARK ANY MOISTURE ON ROADWAYSWILL REFREEZE...MAKING ROADWAYS SLIPPERY...ESPECIALLY ACROSSBRIDGES AND OVERPASSES. TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN BELOWTHE FREEZING MARK UNTIL MID MORNING ON TUESDAY
