A Few Weekend Storms Possible - Better Chance Monday

FROM KRBC CHIEF METEOROLOGIST RANDY TURNER ..

TWO COLD FRONT BETWEEN NOW AND MONDAY BRING RAIN BACK INTO OUR FORECAST AND TEMPERATURES ARE ABOUT TO MODERATE, COMPARED TO THE VERY WARM WEATHER WE'VE HAD THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS.

THE FIRST COLD FRONT WILL ARRIVE LATER TONIGHT INTO TOMORROW MORNING. IT WILL MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE IN THE TEMPERATURE. INSTEAD OF HIGHS IN THE MID 80'S, I'M FORECAST HIGHS IN THE LOW 60'S ON FRIDAY. COUPLE THAT WITH A NORTH WIND AND YOU WILL HAVE A CHILLY FEELING DAY TOMORROW.

I'LL INCLUDE SHOWERS WITH AN ISOLATED STORM OR TWO IN THE SATURDAY FORECAST AS THE COLD FRONT LIFTS BACK NORTH ACROSS THE AREA AS A WARM FRONT.

YOU'LL NOTICE VERY HUMID AIR ARRIVING SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT AS GULF MOISTURE SURGES IN PRIOR TO THE ARRIVAL OF OUR NEXT FRONT ON MONDAY.

SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY APPEAR TO BE OUR BEST CHANCE FOR RAIN AND SOME OF THE STORMS ON MONDAY HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO BE SEVERE SO STAY ALERT SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY.

TONIGHT: COLD FRONT EASES INTO THE AREA, UPPER 40'S.
FRIDAY: MAINLY CLOUDY AND CHILLY, HIGHS NEAR 60.
FRIDAY NIGHT: MOSTLY CLOUDY, UPPER 40'S.
SATURDAY: MOSTLY CLOUDY, 30% CHANCE FOR RAIN, LOW 70'S.
SUNDAY: MOSTLY CLOUDY, 20% CHNACE FOR RAIN, UPPER 70'S.
