Rain Ends Tonight

AFTER SEVERE WEATHER AND WELCOMED RAINS LAST NIGHT AND TODAY, THE STORM SYSTEM RESPONSIBLE FOR THE STORMS WILL MOVE EAST OF OUR AREA TONIGHT, BRINGING AN END TO THE RAIN.

RAINFALL AMOUNTS RANGE FROM 1.65 IN SANTA ANNA TO 3.66 IN BRECKENRIDGE. BAIRD REPORTS 2.75 WHILE COLEMAN ALSO HAD 2.75.

ONCE THE SYSTEM MOVES EAST TONIGHT, CLOUDS WILL GRADUALLY DECREASE FROM WEST TO EAST ACROSS THE AREA. WE SHOULD SEE ABUNDANT SUNSHINE ON WEDNESDAY AND SUNNY SKIES THROUGH SATURDAY.

THE NEXT CHANCE FOR RAIN IS A SLIGHT CHANCE ON SATURDAY NIGHT AND EASTER SUNDAY, THANKS TO ANOTHER COLD FRONT MOVING INTO THE AREA.

TEMPERATURES TONIGHT NEAR 39 IN ABILENE. HIGHS TOMORROW MID 60'S FOLLOWED BY LOW 70'S THURDAY AND MID 70'S ON FRIDAY.
