Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...* A cold start on this Monday morning with temperatures ranging from the lower 20s to the lower 30s. Expect a sunny day ahead with highs warming up into the lower and middle 60s. We'll have a south breeze at times this afternoon and also into the night. Clear conditions tonight and still cool with lows dropping on average into the middle 30s.
* Early Week: A south and southwest wind will keep the Big Country, the Northern Heartland and the Northern Concho Valley warm during the first half of the week. highs on Tuesday will be in the lower 70s and even warmer on Wednesday with highs in the upper 70s. Lows Tuesday night and Wednesday morning will drop into the middle 40s.
* Late Week: A strong cold front will arrive late Wednesday and early Thursday bring in a much colder air mass for West Central Texas on Thursday and Friday. Highs both days will be into the lower 50s with lows in the lower 30s Thursday morning and into the upper 20s on Friday morning. Expect a partly cloudy sky for the late week. No rain chances are expected in the forecast.
* Weekend: Cool weather for the last shopping weekend before Christmas. Expect a partly cloudy sky on Saturday and Sunday. Highs will be around 50 on Saturday with lows Saturday night dropping into the lower 30s. Still partly cloudy on Sunday with highs in the lower 50s and dropping into the lower 30s again for Sunday night. No rain chances are expected in the weekend forecast.
