More Clouds & Cooler Today:

Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* Mostly cloudy and chilly on Friday with high temperatures in the upper 40s. Our coldest night will be tonight with lows dropping into the lower 20s. The disturbance that we expected to bring a cold light rain/wet snow across the Big Country will stay to our north so I'm keeping the precipitation out of the forecast for today. Having said that we could still see a snow flurry over the northwestern & far northern counties early in the day.

* Weekend: Cool weather for the last shopping weekend before Christmas. Expect a partly cloudy sky with morning temperatures Saturday morning starting out in the lower 20s. We'll only warm up to around 50 on Saturday afternoon. Another cold night for Saturday night with temperatures dropping into the upper 20s. Still partly cloudy on Sunday with highs a little warmer into the upper middle 60s and dropping into the middle 30s again for Sunday night. No rain chances are expected in the weekend forecast.

* Next Week: No much happening in the forecast next week across West Central Texas. Expect a mostly sunny sky and warmer temperatures. Highs will range in the middle 70s on Monday, middle 60s on Tuesday, upper 50s on Wednesday and back into the middle 60s on Thursday. No rain chances are expected in the forecast for next week.
