From KRBC Chief Meteorologist Randy Turner ....
It has been frustrating to say the least ... predicting a good chance for rain, and watching most of it stay to Abilene's northwest or a few showers to the south.
But, we're still in the game, and sticking by our guns with a continued good chance for thunderstorms Saturday.
The storms could come as early as the morning hours ... thanks to an upper level disturbance coming our way from the southwest. The chance for rain is a hefty 70 percent for Saturday, morning and afternoon.
By Saturday night, most of the rain should be east of our area.
Sunday is looking partly cloudy and windy... highs in the low 80's, same for Monday.
