From KRBC Chief Meteorologist Randy Turner ...
The warm weather beckons this weekend with highs near 90 degrees on Saturday and Sunday.
For those with plans involving lakes, one small problem ... the wind. Lake wind advisories may be needed this weekend as wind, south or southeasterly, blows from 20 to 30mph with higher gusts.
Rain isn't in the forecast this weekend for the Big Country, although storms are forecast to develop in west and southwest Texas, but should stay west of our area.
Isolated thunderstorms are possible Monday and Tuesday, followed by a 20% chance for thunderstorms on Wednesday.
Temperatures this weekend should be in the upper 60's to 70 in the morning, with low clouds, followed by mainly sunny skies and highs near 90.
Humidity will also be high this weekend, resulting in some sultry but sunny afternoons.
