A Stormy Weekend Ahead:

Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...

*** There is a 'Slight Risk' for severe thunderstorms today across parts of the Big Country, the Northern Heartland and the Northern Concho Valley (areas along and south of Interstate 20) and also a 'Slight Risk' for all of the Big Country, the Northern Heartland and the Northern Concho Valley on Saturday. The main threat is large hail and damaging winds, though an isolated tornado can't be ruled out. ****

* Showers and thunderstorms throughout your Friday as well as into the weekend for all of the KRBC viewing area as a stormy weather pattern remains in place across West Central Texas. Once again parts of our are under a 'Slight Risk' for severe storms today and most of the area is on Saturday. Also be on the lookout for flash flooding as locally heavy rainfall can be possible with the storms. Clouds and rain will keep temperatures into the 70s this weekend (cooler possibly) and overnight lows into the 50s and 60s.

* Next Week: Partly cloudy with a slight chance of a thunderstorm each day for the early and middle of next week with highs in the 80s and lows into the upper 50s and lower 60s.
