From Chief Meteorologist Brandon Rector...
We were a little cooler across the area today thanks to a weak cold front that moved through the area this morning. Highs were in the 60s, which is still above average for this time of year. It wasn't nearly as windy today.
Pleasant and dry conditions look to continue for the rest of the week. Well above average temperatures are expected to continue with the cold Canadian air remaining north of the area. Highs Wednesday through Sunday should be in the upper 60s to mid 70s with the warmest temperatures being on Saturday. Breezy conditions are likely Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Changes look to arrive early next week with a cold front. It is expected to move through the area late Monday into early Tuesday. Temperatures should return closer to seasonal averages. There is a slight to 20% chance of rain both days. We'll continue to keep you updated on this next shot at precipitation throughout the week.
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
