Good Morning from Morning Meteorologist Kristen Connolly….
We are approaching record highs, with temperatures reaching mid 70’s by today. The winds have also picked up bringing in the drier air and plenty of sunshine again, with a few high clouds. Because of these conditions the fire danger is still high, so take a little extra precaution. Our overnight will stay more mild then the past few days with the temperatures in the upper 40’s to lower 50’s and clear skies. Tomorrow conditions will once again be similar with highs getting close to 80.
Sunday will gradually begin our change bringing in some more moisture and cooling temperatures a few degrees. Monday begins our more winter like weather with rain chances on the board that continue through the middle of the week. A cold front will move through the area and cool us off to below average highs in the 40’s by Tuesday. Overnight lows will be approaching freezing, so we will be keeping a close eye on the system with what kind of precipitation we may be getting.
Enjoy the warmth while it lasts!
