*** Red Flag Warning, Lake Wind Advisory, Wind Advisory, Fire Weather Watch in effect for various counties of West Central Texas this afternoon and early evening. ***

* Mostly sunny and turning windy across the area today ahead of a cold front that will arrive this evening. We'll have a west to southwest wind anywhere from 15-30 miles per hour this afternooon with higher gusts possible. Fire Weather & Wind Advisories are in effect for this afternoon. Highs in the lower to middle 60s. Partly cloudy and turning colder tonight. Still breezy with a northwest wind, lows drop into the upper 20s and lower 30s.

* The Week Ahead: Mostly clear conditions are expect for the middle and later half of the week across the Big Country, the Northern Heartland and the Northern Concho Valley. Highs on Tuesday will be cool into the lower 50s with overnight lows in the upper 20s. Warmer for middle and late week with highs back in the lower to mdidle 60s but still cold at night with low sin the lower 30s. No rain chances are expected for Tuesday - Friday across West Central Texas.

* The Weekend: Warmer weather will work back into the forecast just in time for the weekend. Expect a partly cloudy sky with highs in the lower 70s with lows back into the 40s. No rain chances are expect over the weekend.
