* Expect a mostly sunny day ahead for the Big Country, the Northern Heartland and the Northern Concho Valley on this Wednesday. The good news is the wind won't be so gusty today but we'll still have southeast breeze at times. Highs today in the middle 70s. A few clouds return tonight with lows in the lower to middle 50s.
* Rain chances will return on Thursday as the next storm system arrives in West Central Texas. Clouds will be on the increase with the rain chances working into the area for Thursday night. A decent chance for thunderstorms expected on Friday. A few storms could be strong. SPC shows no chance of organized severe weather with this storm system. Highs on Thursday in the low 70s on Thursday but cooling back into the lower 60s on Friday. Lows by Friday night dipping into the middle 30s.
* Weekend: Partly cloudy and dry on Saturday with highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Turning mostly cloudy on Sunday with highs in the middle 50s. Lows in the middle 30s each morning. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible again on Sunday.
* Next Week: Showers and thunderstorms under a mostly cloudy sky on Monday. Highs in the mid 50s with lows in the upper 30s. Partly cloudy with a slight chance of rain early on Tuesday and still cool with highs in the low 60s and lows in the middle 30s.
