Rain Returns Today:

Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* Cloudy conditions will remain in place today as a cold front gets closer to the area helping enhance rain chances later today and tonight. The cold front will move into the Big Country late this evening and should be into the Heartland and Northern Concho Valley toward daybreak on Tuesday before stalling out to our south. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible later today and tonight across the area. Severe weather is not expected but there is a decent chance for needed rain across the area. Much cooler Tuesday and Wednesday with highs only in the 60s.

* Extended Periods: a Gradual warming and drying trend will set up by the end of the week across West Central Texas as high pressure builds back in across the area.
