Cold Air Tonight / Cool Thursday

From KRBC Chief Meteorologist Randy Turner ...

Grab some extra blankets, throw another log on the fire and enjoy some hot chocolate - temperatures tonight are going to end up in the mid to upper 30's around the KRBC viewing area.

The strong cold front arrived on time Wednesday morning along with gusty north wind. With clearing taking place tonight, and winds slowly diminishing, it should set us up for some chilly numbers from 35-39 by Thursday morning. I wouldn't be surprised to see some light frost over the area.

A dry weather trend will continue through the upcoming weekend and temperatures will warm a little more each day. The next cold front is due late Sunday but probably not as strong as the last one.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy to mostly clear with a low of 36. Northwest and north wind subsides to 5 to 10 by late night.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high of 64. Northwest wind 10 to 15 turning southwest later in the day.

Thursday Night: Clear, another chilly night, low 39.

Friday: Mostly sunny and 70.

Saturday: Sunny, 74.

Sunday: Another cold front, mostly sunny to partly cloudy, high 70.
