ISOLATED SHOWERS POSSIBLE FOR THE 4TH

FROM KRBC CHIEF METEOROLOGIST RANDY TURNER ..

IT WAS A PARTLY CLOUDY DAY TODAY AND LOOKED RAINY ALL AFTERNOON BUT THE AREAS THAT SAW THE RAIN WERE LIMITED PRIMARILY TO SOUTHERN COLEMAN COUNTY AND RUNNELS COUNTY. AN ISOLATED STORM OR SHOWER IS STILL POSSIBLE INTO THE EVENING HOURS.

AS WE GO THROUGH THE NEXT THREE DAYS, I'M LEAVING THE FORECAST MAINLY DRY. WHILE A TYPICAL HIT AND MISS SHOWER IS POSSIBLE, MOST AREAS STAY DRY.

I DID MAKE SOME CHANGES TO THE FORECAST FROM SATURDAY THROUGH NEXT TUESDAY - THE MAIN CHANGE BEING RAIN BACK IN THE FORECAST, 20% DAILY, WHICH ALSO HOLDS DOWN OUR TEMPERATURES JUST A LITTLE.

IT'S TOO EARLY TO SAY RIGHT NOW, BUT MODELS ARE PAINTING AN EVEN BRIGHTER PICTURE FOR RAIN EARLY NEXT WEEK. I PREFER TO WAIT AND WATCH THIS POSSIBILITY FOR ANOTHER COUPLE DAYS BEFORE REACHING THAT CONCLUSION WITH AN CERTAINTY.

TONIGHT: PARTLY CLOUDY, LOW NEAR 70. LIGHT SOUTH WIND.

WEDNESDAY: PARTLY CLOUDY, HIGH 93. SOUTH WIND 5 TO 15.

THURSDAY AND FRIDAY: PARTLY CLOUDY, LOW 90S.

WEEKEND: PARTLY CLOUDY, 20% CHANCE FOR RAIN, LOW 90'S.
