Hey Everybody!
It seems like we experience one slow-moving system after another. We again find ourselves subject to some chnsces of afternoon and early evening precip across our area. The high pressure ridge out to the west seems to stay with us. Come tomorrow, drier air could filter into the Big Country and spark more locally severe storms with rain amounts of up to 2". The chances look best for this out to the south.
Models showing best lift indices at 36-48 hrs out, so will go with isolated showers tonight and bump the chances to 20% for Sunday. Expect highs to close to 90 for the majority of the area.
Thanks for tuning in to Abilene's First News for your weather updates - Have a great weekend.
