* Cold start this morning across the region with temperatures ranging from the upper 20s to the upper 30s. On this Tuesday expect ample sunshine, breezy and warmer temperatures across the Big Country, the Northern Heartland and the Northern Concho Valley. Highs will climb into the middle 70s. Quiet weather this evening but a few clouds will return late tonight and it won't be as cold with lows into the lower 40s.
* Midweek/Late Week: Partly cloudy for Wednesday - Friday across the region with highs into the upper 70s for Wednesday and the lower 80s for Thursday and Friday. Overnight lows will hold into the 40s. A cold front will arrive Friday night and bring in cooler weather for the upcoming weekend.

* Wildfire Threat: Dry weather will continue this week for West Central Texas. Afternoon relative humidity values will drop to less than 20 percent across most of West Central Texas today and across western sections Wednesday afternoon through Friday afternoon. Winds will be mostly from the south through Thursday and will be somewhat gusty Wednesday afternoon. However, 20 foot winds will remain less than 20 mph. With these conditions and very dry vegetation elevated fire weather conditions will be present during the afternoon hours.
