Scattered Thunderstorms:




Good Morning from Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* Mostly cloudy this morning with some isolated showers in spots across the Big Country. As we go into the day, especially the afternoon afternoon, cumulus clouds will develop and eventually we will begin to see thunderstms developing across the area for the late afternoon and evening hours. Highs in the lower 90s today with lows tonight around the lower 70s.

* There will be a continuing chance of thunderstorms over most of the Big Country today, tonight and tomorrow. One or two storms could become severe, with large hail and damaging winds being the main threats. The Storm Prediction Center has our area under a slght risk for today, tonight and tomorrow.

* Summer-like forecast pattern returns for the later half of the week and into the weekend across the area. Daytime highs will remain in the middle and upper 90s across the Big Country with overnight lows into the lower 70s.
